Some of us have family in Boston, and when we visit, we always look for great places–new or old–to have a meal or a drink.
Even though we are mostly gluten-free and tend to limit our dairy intake*, we don’t want that to stop us from going to the best bars and restaurants in Boston.
Here are a few places we’ve found that aren’t necessarily “labeled” allergy-friendly, but whose staff is educated about and accommodating toward various food allergies and intolerances. More to come!

*There are many people who haven’t been tested for lactose intolerance, but who have found that consuming milk and ice cream causes many of the same immediate symptoms as consuming gluten. Most cheese and Greek yogurt is fine because of the lower lactose content.
